I work well with people who are self-aware and engaged, and my approach is focused on developing insight and skills to help clients make meaningful improvements in their lives. Often my clients struggle with self-image issues, relationship issues, and feel stuck and alone. I collaborate with my clients to set goals and prioritize maintaining a trusting, productive therapeutic relationship. My work is trauma-informed, anti-oppressive, and strengths-focused.

I am experienced in working with people who are neurodivergent, have mood disorders, have experienced psychosis and who have experienced trauma. Many have had difficult experiences in the mental health system so I invest in building a trusting relationship where clients can feel heard, respected and safe enough to engage in the challenging work of recovery.

Therapy works best when there is a strong therapeutic relationship. Clients have described that the lack of judgement, respect, and consistency I offer helps them feel comfortable and understood. I offer a free consultation so we can see if this is a good fit. You can book online via my website, call or email.

We are all doing the best we can, and we all need to find our own way through. Let’s work together to find solutions and healing that works for you.

My approach is empowerment-based and I specialize in trauma recovery and relationship issues. I am experienced in working with people with ADHD and major mental illness (i.e. bipolar disorder, psychosis). I will work to build a trusting relationship and will seek ongoing feedback. Many of my clients are working towards greater self-knowledge, healing/grieving, and making healthy connections. I offer a nonjudgmental space to explore the common feelings of loneliness, overwhelm, and frustration and find ways through.

Common issues I work with: intimate relationships, parent/child relationships, friend/community relationships, grief, narcissistic abuse recovery, misogynistic abuse recovery, recovery from a major mental health crisis, substance use issues, life changes/transitions, and navigating life while living with chronic mental health issues, neurodivergence or experiencing ongoing systemic oppression. Expect authentic and compassionate listening, resilience and skill building, and work to make plans to take real positive, empowered action.

I am queer friendly, harm-reduction friendly, disability friendly, anti-oppressive–all are welcome and accepted. I am also comfortable working with those who have never done therapy before, or who have had negative past experiences, and will follow your lead about where you want to start.
